Hola! Who’s ready for Spanish?

“I really like Spanish, I get to chill with my amigos and to excel in a different  tongue,” said, Landon Simkins, a ninth grader. As you can already tell, we have  a Spanish class at Springville Junior High. There are a lot of students who are nervous or frightened to take Spanish because they think they may not succeed. Well, according to Senor Beebe, the Spanish teacher at Springville Junior High, “Anyone can take Spanish as long as they are interested in learning it. It takes a lot of patience and time to take it, but as long as you put time into it you will succeed.” Senior Beebe also said, “My favorite part of teaching Spanish is when I see or hear enthusiastic students using what I have taught them.

SJHS Choirs sang at High School Concert

Submitted by tiffanie.miley on

On Friday October 20th, choirs from Springville Junior High  sang at the Springville High School concert. The groups that sang were the Apprentice Singers, Journeymen, and Master Singers. All of the groups sang two songs. But, the one song that all the choirs sang together was “Stand Together.” According to Zackary Dalley, Apprentice Singer at SJHS, he looks up to high school choir students because it makes him want to become a better singer. All of the choirs from SJHS enjoyed singing in the concert.
