Halloween in Biology Class

Submitted by jennifer.dunn on

On Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Mr. Hatfield, a science teacher at SJHS, prepared homemade root beer for all his class periods.  Although originally scheduled for Halloween the No Tardy Party would not allow Mr. Hatfield to make root beer for all his classes, so he postponed.

Kaden Jepperson, a student in Mr. Hatfield’s biology class, said the gathering was, “fun. We got to talk with our friends and watch a movie.”  The movie watched was Disney’s The Rookie (2002.)

Do One Thing

Submitted by jennifer.dunn on

If you have not noticed already, there are maybe 200 black signs around the school, that have big white letters that spell out, “Do One Thing.” Lots of people see this piece of paper as a sign that is just hung around the halls. But a huge percentage of students look at it and think, today will be better than yesterday. It is not that hard to find one of these signs. They are in classrooms, in the halls, and on bulletin boards.
