Dear SJHS parents and guardians:

We hope that this email finds you and your family well. If you do not have enough comptuer devices for your children to participate in online learning, we have Chromebooks available for your SJHS student to check out when school is dismissed for the next two weeks. (If you have children attending other schools in Nebo District, please contact those schools to see about Chromebook check out.) We would like to stagger the pick up times to reduce the number of people we have in the building at one time.

If possible, please come pick up your child’s Chromebook TODAY, TUESDAY, 3/17/20, at the following time:

[Press relesase] SALT LAKE CITY (March 14, 2020) - At a news conference yesterday afternoon, Gov. Gary R. Herbert mentioned that during public school’s two-week dismissal, parents who are unable to be home with children will have the option to bring them to school to be supervised by teachers. This is not the case.

School campuses will remain open for the next two weeks so students can retrieve personal items or pick up assignments from their instructors. Some instructors may be available for brief one-on-one tutoring or to help answer student questions about their assignments.

Dear SJHS parents and guardians:

As you are probably aware, Governor Herbert recently announced a school dismissal for the next two weeks. We'll be sending information and updates as we move forward.  We will not be holding school starting Monday, March 16. The district has been preparing for our schools to provide instruction online beginning Wednesday, March 18. Teachers will spend Monday and Tuesday at school preparing online instruction for at-home learning. Students are expected to continue learning at home with online teacher support through March 27, 2020.
