He Loves his math and yearbook classes. Yearbook because it’s a chill fun class, and math because he has it with his best friend.  He also loves SJHS for its cleanliness and how kind all the teachers and students are.

Get to know Cole Herlevi and why he likes school

Submitted by tara.pina on

Cole Herlevi is in 9th grade and has been going to Springville jr for all 3 years. His favorite thing about SJHS is his friends and teachers. “My favorite class is science.” The reason why Cole likes science is because of his teacher Mr. Kendric. “He is funny and makes class fun.” Cole explains.  Cole’s electives are yearbook and Chinese. This year is the most different year of all because of COVID-19. One of Cole’s favorite changes this year is getting to eat outside with friends. He normally brings a home lunch with a sandwich and cheez-its!

Behind the Mask of Francesca Campbell

Thomas Hardy said, “The perfect woman is a hardworking woman; not an idler; not a fine lady; but one that uses her hands and her head and her heart for the good of others.” This can relate to any hard working woman or girl, but I am going to shine on one of our own independent, fun, hardworking, student council representatives,Francesca Campbell!

Parent-Teacher Conference / Conferencia de Padres y Maestros

Submitted by tiffanie.miley on
(Desplaza hacia abajo para Español.) Dear SJHS parents and guardians: This is just a quick reminder that parent-teacher conferences will be held tomorrow--Thursday, September 24--from 3:30-7:00pm. Teachers will be available in their classrooms, and there is no appointment necessary. Prior to coming to the conferences that evening, we would like to encourage all parents and students to log in to iCampus to check the current status of grades and missing assignments. If you are able to get this information online ahead of time, it will allow parents and teachers to have fuller conversations that evening. We are asking that each family limit their attendance to one parent and child where possible.
