The Amazing Mrs.Bales

Mrs. Bales, one of the SJHS staff members, helps the school and helps to make people feel good about coming to SJHS.

Mrs.Bales, the attendance secretary, said, “My favorite part about my job is the kids because they make me laugh.  It took a really sweet personality to get my job.  My job’s not too difficult, but it’s stressful and a little hard because there are eleven hundred kids and two parents per kid, so it’s hard to keep people where they're suppose to be and running smoothly.  I also really love the new, open, bright building so I can see the naughty and nice students walk by.”

Mr.VanAusdal, the principal at SJHS, said, “The best thing about Mrs.Bales is that she is hard working, fair, and she always makes good decisions. She makes our school more successful by making kids understand being in school is important.  She is a good asset and supportive with everyone.  She is one hard working professional.”

Mrs. Murdock, the finance secretary at SJHS, said, “Mrs.Bales has a great personality and a funny sense of humor.  She is easy to talk to and makes everyone around her feel comfortable.  She is very efficient, organized, and gets things done quickly.  She is always willing to listen and talk with students or parents about improving attendance.  She brings a warm and welcoming presence to the front office.  We love working with Mrs.Bales at SJHS.”

Aydan Marshall, an eighth grader at SJHS, said, “I like that Mrs.Bales is very nice, hard working, funny, and gives me candy.  I love to talk to Mrs.Bales because she is hilarious.  I feel that I can talk to her whenever I need to because she is very understanding.  She should get a raise.”

Nick Cloward, a eighth grader at SJHS, said, “Mrs.Bales is very nice and gives us candy.  I love to talk to her because she is very nice, and plus I'm related to her.  I feel like I can talk to her because we are tight.  She needs a raise.”
