This year at SJHS the girls basketball team is working hard. They are working well together and are committed to playing the games and trying very hard to win and represent the school. They are very important to the school and the team.
Holly Hutchison, a player on the girls basketball team, likes the game of basketball because it is fun being on the team with everyone.Tessa Larson, another one of the players on the team, enjoys the sport and enjoys being with all her friends. Megan Skinner, another player on the team, likes to play basketball because she can play with her friends.
Mrs. Gurney, the coach of the girls basketball team, said, “I coach basketball because it is the best sport ever!” Her favorite thing about coaching is seeing improvement in the plays. She loves teaching the sport and seeing people succeed at it.Our basketball team is doing very well at practicing and getting ready to represent SJHS at games.
Make sure to go and support them at the games too.
