Article: Cuddly Kittens or Perfect Puppies

The debate on what is better cats or dogs has gone on too long. It is finally time to see which one rules over all. According to Mrs. Reese, a ninth grade history teacher says, “Dogs! Because they are man’s best friend and woman’s too.” Cats can be more independent than dogs, but dogs are more playful and love to be around you.

Dogs can be great and Amanda Gardner says, ”I HAVE A DOG AND HE IS THE CUTEST DARN THING EVER! He is also loyal, happy and smart but kind of stupid at the same time. If you get a dog they will not disappoint and will love you always!”

Janelle Mammen, a ninth-grader loves cats and thinks that they are just like her. Another student says, “I don’t like dogs because they always smell bad, they are also hard to potty train. Another reason is that cats are really chill animals, and dogs are the opposite of that.” Dogs want to be athletic and be outside while cats are cuddly and people would love to snuggle while you watch a movie in sweat-pants.

A ninth-grade girl says that they are both great. With cats you can snuggle but you can play with dogs. Cats can be mean, while dogs are messy and smelly.

In a survey of 29 people, 19 of those think that dogs are better all the way. 7 think that both cats and dogs are great. Only two of the 29 think that cats are way better, and one person thinks that Musubi is yummy.

Overall it looks like dogs rule while the cats drool!
