At SJHS there is program called FFA which represents Future Farmers of America. In this program you learn about many different things such as agracoucher. FFA is a program which helps kids throughout America become better friends and farmers. Today, the National FFA organization remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

In FFA you have the option to get rewards by earning them. A few ways you can earn a award is by being a good person ,listening to instructions, and being an outstanding student.  If you do FFA you have many opportunities to do service projects. While doing the projects you can earn awards.  In FFA they believe that it is important that you do in classroom work just as much as real life experiences. That is why you do both. You do classwork just as much as you go around and lean and see stuff in real life.

Many of the people who do FFA here at our school enjoy it . All of them say it is supper fun and they loved taking the class. Morgan Roper who is in FFA Said “FFA is so fun I love being in it.” But FFA isn’t all about having fun it is also about hard work. Shara Whatabe said “FFA is fun but it is also taught me a lot about who I am and what I want to be when I grow up.” FFA can teach you a lot about who you are and what you want enjoy doing and what you want to be when you grow up.

In FFA you also learn about agriculture, food and, animals.  Agriculture is learning about framing and taking care of land and learning how to use the equipment farmers use. When you learn about food you learn how to grow it and take care of it so it will be healthy. And when you learn about animals you find out how to take care of them and how to keep them strong and healthy and to know what to feed them. FFA sound super fun and I would love doing it and all of you should consider it because it could help you find out about what you love doing, and what you want to be. That is why everyone should do FFA.
