Congratulations to  seventh graders Brynn Dinkel and Moroni Wright, eighth graders Cinthia Perez and Logan Furner, and ninth graders Kenzie Keane and Hunter Farr.  These students have just been awarded the Super Knight award for November 2013 at SJHS.  They have worked hard and have stuck to the traits of a Knight.

Moroni Wright, the seventh grade boy Super Knight, said, “It’s awesome, I like [being a Super Knight.”]

Logan Furner, the eighth grade boy Super Knight, agrees saying that the experience on stage was “exciting.”

Cinthia Perez, the eighth grade girl Super Knight, said that it feels good to be a Super Knight and that, “It feels good to know people appreciate you .”

The following is what the teachers said about the Super Knights:

Brynn Dinkel:

* “She has a kind, ever optimistic presence that lifts those around her.  She leads by quiet example and positive participation.”

* “She's persistent and always gets her work done.  She's nice to everyone.”

* “She is the ultimate example of a Super Knight. She goes the extra mile and gives 100%+ on everything she does. She has a great personality and does her school work with a smile and awesome attitude. She  is willing to help others in class and is not afraid to ask questions if she needs clarification.”

Moroni Wright:

* “He is an exceptionally hard worker. He always makes sure that his work is not only done but that it is correct and done well.”

* “He is smart, hard working, and creative.  He always tries his best!  I wish I had a class full of students like him.”

* “He quietly goes about his work. He is a hard worker and knows what to do to be successful in school. He is very polite and courteous and completes all of his work on time. He is a great example to other students.”

Cinthia Perez:

* “This student is always positive and willing to do her best.  She comes to class prepared and is a great influence on those around her.  She is a delightful addition to our class community.”

* “She is such a sweetheart.  I love her smile and positive attitude which she brings to class everyday.  She is so well behaved and a delight to teach.”

* “She is a very respectful student. She listens intently, words hard in class, and excels on tests, quizzes, and assignments. She is a joy to have in class.”

* “She is a very conscientious student. She is always willing to work with other students, and is patient and kind even with students who are struggling. I enjoy having her in class!”

Logan Furner:

* “He is a very hard worker. He works hard to develop his talents and shares them with others. He is always kind. He works really hard to improve his grades.”

* “He is an amazing artist!  Every day he has his eyes on me and his pencil ready to go.  He works harder than anyone I know in all of my art classes. It's a joy to have him in my class, and I can't wait to see what kinds of things he will do in the future.”

Kenzie Keane:

* “She has been a great asset in helping other students. She is self-motivated and I believe she will go far.”

* “She is truly a positive role model.  She tries to befriend others in various groups and she is always respectful.  She has a happy personality and is willing to try anything!  She isn't afraid of something new or unknown, but she jumps at the chance to be involved.  She is considerate of others around her and shows great maturity with how she treats her peers.  Not only is she a great person, but she is a great student.  She works hard and knows how to enjoy school.  She is a very deserving person for the Super Knights award because she is a positive example in everything she does!”

Hunter Farr:

* “He is such a great student - he works hard and does his best. He is also so friendly and kind to students and teachers, exactly what you would expect from a "Super Knight!"

* “This student is a star!  He is always ready with a smile and makes sure to encourage his classmates.  He is the ideal example of being a good student.  He is on time, works hard, asks questions, says thank you and even offers help to other students whenever he sees an opportunity.”

* “He has a positive attitude and has been very willing to help when I've asked him to assist other students.”

Congratulations again Super Knights, and let us all congratulate them on a job well done.
