End Of Year Band Concert

On Wednesday May 21st, the last band concert of the year was held in the SJHS auditorium. 

The seventh graders played “Eclipsys”, “Hogan's Heroes March”, “I Want to Hold Your Hand” (The Beatles), “Stonehenge”, “Thriller”, and “Y.M.C.A.” The eighth graders played “Swahili Folk Hymn”, “Raiders March” (Indiana Jones), “Three Welsh Songs”, “Best of the Beatles”, and “Jurassic Park”. The ninth graders played “New Forest March”, “Down By the Salley Gardens”, “Pueblo”, “Michael Jackson Hit Mix”, and “Smoke on the Water”. 

“All of the bands are doing most excellent! I really appreciate the students’ hard work, dedication, and excellence!” said Mr. Booth. “I will really miss teaching the ninth grade band students who will be moving on to the high school next year. I'm also looking forward to teaching at the new Springville Junior High School next year!”
