There are many wonderful English teachers at SJHS. The English teachers come to school with bright eyes and open arms, and are ready to teach each day.

“I love teaching English! I love being able to focus on reading and writing, and I love teaching my students such important skills. I also love the freedom teaching English gives me-- I feel like I have so many options of what and how to teach,” said Ms. Dunn, an English teacher  at  SJHS.

“I really like teaching English. I especially like teaching here at Springville Junior High. Teaching can be a lot of work, but it is also rewarding to see students grow,” said Ms. McBride, another English teacher at Springville Junior High.

“Teaching English is the craziest, hardest thing I've ever had to do. But I also insanely love it too. I love when students get really into it. When you see a student that is normally bored in your class suddenly getting engaged in what we're talking about, that makes it all worth it for me,” said Mr. Mccombs, a new English teacher at SJHS.

English is a great subject. There are many wonderful English teachers at SJHS, and the SJHS community hopes that they will teach for many years.
