On Tuesday October 29th, the 9th grade drama class put on the play Hamlet. The cast chose the play Hamlet because most everyone liked it and thought it would be fun to do. Emme Trunnell, the director of the play said, “Everyone really pushed for Hamlet and it was something most people knew about. The best part of the play was the final performance. We had been building up to that moment all term.” The cast of the play had to do a ton of work to make this play perfect, they had to memorize lines, they had tons of rehearsals, they had to get costumes, and much more. So it really did take a lot of time and a lot of hard work. Kennedie Young, a member of the cast, said, “ My favorite part of the play was probably practicing with all of my friends, and having fun together.” The play brought a lot of people together and helped a lot of people to develop their talents. The 9th grade drama class did a fantastic job and the final performance was beautiful. After the play was over, Emme stated, “It was really exciting and I would love to do it again!”
