High school volleyball has come to Springville Junior High School. According to Stacy Stapel, ninth grader here at SJHS, it’s a great feeling to be a part of the high school experience.  Cassie Buhler, eighth-grade student at SJHS, said, “Coach Snell is a little intimidating but overall a really great person.”  According to Cassie, she is scared but confident to play “like a beast.”

Coach Snell, the main coach for girls volleyball, and his assistant coach, Coach Karissa will be doing a summer volleyball skills and conditioning camp for all girls age 12 and up. Players will be able to warm up and practice with current coaches and previous players. According to Sydney Heister, eighth-grade student at SJHS, it’s great to work with the high school girls and the coaches. “The practices make you sore but they are really helpful.”

Stacy said, ”I also play softball at the high school and I just finished basketball season for the high school as well, but volleyball is something I've done since fourth grade and hope to continue to do. I love being a team member and encouraging others, it's a great feeling!”
