Jesse Owens once said, “We all have dreams but in order to make dreams into reality it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.” I think this is a perfect example of one of our seventh graders, Kenley O’Bannon. Kenley O’Bannon is a seventh-grader here at SJHS and is certainly a bright student. She is very eager to learn and is always looking out for others. She is really liking Jr. High so far, and she really enjoys how much positivity, kindness, and equality that is shown at school. Kenley enjoys math and Spanish because the teachers are always coming up with new and fun ways to teach the class and get them involved with everything.  She likes how everyone is portrayed equally and is welcomed here at school. She says the hardest part about Jr. High is getting lost and really trying hard to communicate with her teachers. When asked if there was anything she wanted people to know she said, “I just want people to know that I am always here for people and if you need someone to talk to or you need help with anything I am here.”  Kenley is new here this year and is very eager to learn and get involved with the students here. If you ever need anyone to talk to or someone to help you with anything Kenley is your person!
