Students in the Spotlight

 We have lots of fabulous students here at Springville Junior High School.  This month we are putting the spotlight on two students from each grade, a boy and a girl. Each of these boys and girls are talented students. Enjoy learning more about them.

Catie Brunson, seventh grade~ Catie is a piano playing genius! She also likes sports. Her favorite subject is  math and she also enjoys playing in the school band. The ice cream of her choice is  strawberry cheesecake. She enjoys watching Marvel Superhero movies. When she puts the earbuds in she listens to Josh Turner and Michael Buble.          

Hunter Boschee,seventh grade~ Hunter loves sports! Scootering and riding horses are his hobbies. He loves PE, and considers himself talented at football. Some other favorites are cookie dough ice cream and Maroon 5.


Sariah Rencher, eighth grade~ Sariah says that something she is good at is smiling. Her hobbies are running and doing crafts. Her favorite class is Health class. The ice cream of her choice is chocolate fudge brownie. And she likes to listens to Imagine Dragons and watch UP.

Brayden Tijerina, eighth grade~ Brayden is  a sportaholic. His hobbies are sports, which he’s good at, and he likes body conditioning. His favorite music is OneRepublic. His favorite movie is appropriately Here Comes The Boom.      

Emily Baugh, ninth grade~ Emily enjoys ice skating and painting. The class that she enjoys the most is Seminary. Her favorite movie is Neverland, which she says is “sort of like Peter Pan but not.” She also likes cookies and cream ice cream and listening to Pierce the Veil.               

Marcus Hansen, ninth grade~Marcus Hansen says, “ I like to play soccer and hang with friends.” He likes his science class, and enjoys eating pistachio ice cream. He considers himself good at doing homework and being nice to people. The movie he likes the most is Olympus Has Fallen. He also likes to listen to Rascal Flatts.
