Halloween is the funnest time of the year, where you get to dress up in funny costumes and get scared with scary movies, and most of all get free candy! And since it’s getting closer and closer to Halloween, we wanted to see what people’s favorite part about Halloween is.

Our first person is Jessica Herrmann, and eighth grader. Jessica’s favorite part about Halloween is all of it, she explains that it’s all just so fun. She says that she will go trick-or-treating just because her friends will. Do you get scared easily? Well Jessica doesn’t because she likes scary things. She says that her favorite costume when she was little was where she was a box of Nerds. Jessica is going to be Tyler Joseph, the lead singer of Twenty-One Pilots, she decided to dress up as him because as she explains, “I freaking love him.”

Michelle Pioquinto, an eighth grader, likes Halloween because as she explains, “You can dress up as anything and no one can judge you.” Michelle says she does go trick-or-treating because she likes to see other people's costumes and she thinks its fun. But she gets scared easily. Her favorite costume that she wore when she was little was when her and her family dressed up as vampires. Although she doesn’t know what she is going to be this year, so watch out for her on Monday to see what she’s wearing.

Anya Keil, a ninth grader, says that her favorite part about Halloween are the scary traditional movies like Hocus Pocus or Beetlejuice. She likes trick-or-treating because as she says,”Its free candy, why not.” But she does not get scared easily because there is nothing that scares her. Anya’s favorite costume she wore when she was little was a Superwoman costume when she was 7 or 8. Anya’s is planning on being a Chick-fil-a Cow.

DeeAnna Jolley, a ninth grader, is like Anya and loves the Halloween movies because they bring back memories. Although she does not like dressing up. But she said that she gets scared easily about 80% of the time. Her favorite costume when she was little was when she saved up all her money to get a $30 princess dress when she was 6. And DeeAnna is not dressing up this year.

Look out for these awesome people on Monday and check out their awesome costumes. Happy Halloween!
