Over the last two days, our Springville Junior High JV and Varsity teams have had the opportunity to participate in a tournament with other Junior High Schools in our district. 🎾

Our JV singles and two double partners were undefeated in Monday’s matches and took 1st overall! 🥇

Every one of our Varsity players took 1st or 2nd in their position, and our team took second overall in Tuesday’s matches. 🏆

We have had such a great season and are so proud of these girls and their commitment and positive attitudes!

Want to Host Your Own Mini Reading Marathon?

PBS Utah is excited to offer support to small communities outside of Salt Lake County!

We want to help you promote the love of reading in your community. 

Libraries, schools, and non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for support to host their own Mini Reading Marathon. Support ranges from $100-500.

It'll be another busy week here at SJHS.

Dear SJHS families:

During the month of October, schools throughout Nebo District will participate in a survey to better understand the well-being and school experiences of students. The survey asks questions like the following:

Students in the Get Lit-erary Club met for the first time last week in the library. They chatted about the books they read and enjoyed treats.

Dear SJHS families:

Next week is a short week for students with our Staff Development Day on Monday, and there are several other important things going on next week:

Monday, 9/26/22: 

• Staff Development Day — No school for students.

Tuesday, 9/27/22: 

• Girls tennis vs. Spanish Fork Junior High at home

Wednesday, 9/28/22: 

Our child development class has been learning to use car seats, change diapers, distinguish different cries, as well as swaddle babies as they prepare to take our infant simulators home.
