SJHS Has The Greatest Students

Here at SJHS, we have outstanding students!  Jenessa Crystal, an eighth grader here, is a great example of that. Emma Rich, an eighth grader at SJHS, said, “I like the happiness around her and the love she shares.”

According to Jenessa, a few of her hobbies are reading, playing the piano, and playing club volleyball.  She loves going camping with her family.  She said,  “I also do fiddle band which is during Quest Time.”  According to Kaylee Larsen,  an eighth grader at SJHS, the three things Jenessa is really good at are the three S’s: sleeping, soccer, and sports.   She enjoys acting, and the summer after fourth grade, she and her friends put together the play Matilda.

According to Mrs. Porter, a history teacher at SJHS, Jenessa is a delight to have in class.  She said, “She is always paying attention, and when I call on her she gives very insightful answers.”

According to Kaitlyn Metler, an eighth grader at SJHS, you can talk to Jenessa about anything.  According to Carsen Poole, an eighth grader at SJHS, Jenessa is someone you just want to be around.

Another great example of an awesome student is Max Davis, who is also an eighth grader here.  Jake Roper, an eighth grader at SJHS, said, “He’s really funny and just fun.”

According to Max Davis, he enjoys playing the guitar, and his favorite class in school is PE.  He was also on the golf team earlier this year.  Some of his friends are Jake Roper and Brandon Jeppson.

Ms. Gerhauser, a PE teacher, said, “He is a great student!  He is always kind, helpful, and hardworking.  He is a lot of fun to have in class.”

According to Brandon Jeppson, an eighth grader at SJHS, Max is fun to talk to or do anything with.  Jake Roper said, "He’s good at math and being happy.”

Ms. Gerhauser said, “Max is kind to everyone and makes sure that everyone on his team gets a turn with whatever we are doing. The other students love having Max on their team!”

We have so many great students at SJHS, and Max and Jenessa are just a couple of them.  Keep it up, SJHS!
