We had such a great turn out for yesterday’s open house! It was fun to see our 9th graders and meet our new 8th graders and their families. Our faculty and staff have attended professional development and collaborated as teams throughout the summer so they are ready for a new year of teaching and learning. We are excited about what the new year has in store! School starts tomorrow, August 16, at 7:55am.

Dear SJHS parents and guardians:

Early yearbook handout will happen during 6th period on Monday, May 22. To receive their yearbook during early yearbook handout, students need to have purchased a yearbook, turned in any textbooks, library books, or other school-owned items (instruments, choir apparel, etc.), and have no outstanding school fees. A list will be posted on Wednesday, May 17 for students to check and ensure that they will be able to receive a yearbook during early yearbook handout (if they have purchased one).

Eleven students from Springville Junior High School (including 6th grader Luke Pratt from Spring Canyon Middle School) were formally recognized at BYU Tuesday, May 2 by the  BYU Math Department for exceptional performance on the AMC 8 test, a national math competition held earlier this year. Pictured left to right are Neil Payne, Clara Allen, Emily Birk, Luke Pratt, Payton Pratt, Preston Lefler, and George Bassett. Not pictured, but also recognized by BYU were Dean Blakey, Bowen Fletcher, and Cameron Judd. We are really proud of our exceptional math students!
