Dear SJHS families:

We are excited to offer a “Catch-Up Day” on Thursday, October 1, from 2:35–4:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for students to get caught up on missing assignments, receive additional help, and work with their teachers on concepts they may not yet fully understand.

With the end of the term quickly approaching on October 14, we encourage students who have missing work or would benefit from additional support to take advantage of this opportunity. Teachers will be available to provide individual assistance, answer questions, and reteach concepts as needed. As an additional incentive, students who attend Catch-Up Day detention will receive credit toward tardies and unexcused absences.

Students also have access to their teachers for additional support 30 minutes before and after school. We encourage students to reach out to their teachers and make a plan for completing any missing work before the end of the term. Thank you for partnering with us to help our students finish the term strong!
