During the month of October, Mrs. Wirfs class worked on a breakout to set Edgar Allan Poe free from the crypt. it was an activity to go along with their suspense reading unit for the month.

The Big Head Project was in full swing in the 3D Design room.
The past weeks in ESL class, we talked about dreams and talents, the importance of learning/education, and the use of creativity for problem-solving.
We learned about wind energy, read the book "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," and then painted and constructed wind chimes.

In science, the past couple of weeks Mr. Jensen's classes have been engineering devices to protect egg-stronauts from the impact on the surface of Mars and heat of entry into the Martian atmosphere.
