Dear Springville Junior High families:
We had a great Super Knights Assembly and Family Dance Activity yesterday. It was so good to recognize some of our students, see some student performances, and have fun together as a whole school community! Here are our upcoming school events, followed up by some important information about our school drop-off and pick-up areas.
- Monday, October 7: JV girls tennis tournament at the Spanish Fork Sports Park (295 Volunteer Dr, SF), 8:00am / Master Singers concert at Springville High School, 7:00pm
- Tuesday, October 8: Varsity girls tennis tournament at the Spanish Fork Sports Park, 8:00am
- Wednesday, October 9: SJHS Fall Choir Concert at the Summit Center (165 S. 700 E, Springville), 7:00pm
- Thursday, October 10: Cross Country District Finals at Mapleton Junior High School (362 E. 1200 N., Mapleton), 3:30pm
In order to ensure the safety of our students and smooth flow of traffic during morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups, we wanted to send out a few important reminders about our drop-off lanes. Our hope is to ensure a safe and efficient start and end to the day for our students.
South Drop-Off Lanes
- Location: Directly in front of the main entrance of the school
- Lanes: There are two designated lanes for dropping off and pick up students.
- Important Note: While the area may appear wide enough for three vehicles, please refrain from driving over the solid line between the lanes. This helps avoid close calls with students in the crosswalk.
North Drop-Off Lane
- Location: Through the north faculty parking lot
- Lanes: Only one drop-off lane is designated—the left lane.
- Important Note: Please do not drop off or pick up students from the right lane. As there is no crosswalk here, we want to prevent students from crossing in front of moving vehicles.
General Reminders
- Patience and Preparedness: Morning drop-off may be a bit slow at times. Encourage your child to be ready to exit the car promptly once you enter the drop-off zone.
- Safety First: Your awareness and patience are greatly appreciated. We have many students entering and exiting the building each day, and ensuring their safety is our top priority.

Ayer tuvimos una gran Asamblea de Súper Caballeros y una Actividad de Baile Familiar. ¡Fue tan bueno reconocer a algunos de nuestros estudiantes, ver algunas actuaciones de los estudiantes y divertirnos juntos como toda la comunidad escolar! Aquí están nuestros próximos eventos escolares, seguidos de información importante sobre nuestras áreas para dejar y recoger a la escuela:

Carriles de bajada del sur
- Ubicación: Directamente frente a la entrada principal de la escuela.
- Carriles: Hay dos carriles designados para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes.
- Nota importante: Si bien el área puede parecer lo suficientemente amplia para tres vehículos, absténgase de conducir sobre la línea continua entre los carriles. Esto ayuda a evitar incidentes con estudiantes en el cruce de peatones.
Carril de bajada norte
- Ubicación: A través del estacionamiento norte de la facultad.
- Carriles: Sólo se designa un carril para dejar a los estudiantes: el carril izquierdo.
- Nota importante: Por favor, no deje ni recoja a los estudiantes en el carril derecho. Como aquí no hay cruce de peatones, queremos evitar que los estudiantes crucen frente a vehículos en movimiento.
Recordatorios generales
- Paciencia y preparación: El descenso por la mañana puede ser un poco lento a veces. Anime a su hijo a estar listo para salir del automóvil rápidamente una vez que ingrese a la zona de entrega.
- Seguridad ante todo: Apreciamos mucho su conocimiento y paciencia. Tenemos muchos estudiantes entrando y saliendo del edificio todos los días, y garantizar su seguridad es nuestra principal prioridad.
