We have several different events going on this week:
- Monday, May 9 - Friday, May 13: Math RISE test for 8th graders
- Monday, May 9: Junior Varsity District Tennis tournament at Springville High School (8:00am)
- Tuesday, May 10: Varsity District Tennis tournament at Springville High School (8:00am)
- Wednesday, May 11: AP Chinese and Spanish tests (starting at 8:00am sharp)
- Thursday, May 12: Jazz Band Concert at SJHS (7:00pm)
- Friday, May 13: District Track Finals at Salem Hills High School (all day)
- Friday, May 20: Term 4 prize drawing for students who have been practicing being responsible citizens, effective communicators, and successful learners.
Yearbook Information:
Early yearbook handout will happen during 7th period on Tuesday, May 24. To receive their yearbook during early yearbook handout, students need to have purchased a yearbook, turned in any textbooks, library books, or other school-owned items (instruments, choir apparel, etc.), and have no outstanding school fees. A list will be posted a few days before early yearbook handout for students to check and ensure that they will be able to receive a yearbook during early yearbook handout (if they have purchased one).
We do have a limited number of yearbooks left to sell. If you don’t remember whether or not you purchased a yearbook for your student, the easiest way to find that out is for your student to stop by the finance office during lunch or before or after school and ask Mrs. Davis. We will continue selling yearbooks on myschoolfees.com until the yearbooks have nearly sold out. At that point, we will only sell them through the finance office. This will help us avoid selling more yearbooks than we have on hand.

Message from Nebo School District:
Nebo School District is in the process of selecting programs/curriculum to support student skill development in: Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, Responsible Decision Making, and Relationship Skills. We are seeking input from the community on potential K-12 programs. If you would like to review these programs, feel free to come to the Nebo School District Office’s Professional Learning Center (350 S. Main, Spanish Fork) which is located behind the district office by the baseball fields. The meeting will take place on Thursday May 12 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

La entrega anticipada del anuario se llevará a cabo durante el séptimo período el martes 24 de mayo. Para recibir su anuario durante la entrega anticipada del anuario, los estudiantes deben haber comprado un anuario, haber entregado cualquier libro de texto, libros de la biblioteca u otros artículos propiedad de la escuela (instrumentos, ropa de coro, etc.), y no tener cuotas escolares pendientes. Se publicará una lista unos días antes de la entrega temprana del anuario para que los estudiantes verifiquen y se aseguren de que podrán recibir un anuario durante la entrega temprana del anuario (si han comprado uno).
Nos queda un número limitado de anuarios para vender. Si no recuerda si compró o no un anuario para su estudiante, la forma más fácil de averiguarlo es que su estudiante pase por la oficina de finanzas durante el almuerzo o antes o después de la escuela y pregunte a la Sra. Mensaje del Distrito Escolar de Nebo:

Estamos buscando aportes de la comunidad sobre posibles programas K-12. Si desea revisar estos programas, no dude en venir al Centro de Aprendizaje Profesional de la Oficina del Distrito Escolar de Nebo (350 S. Main, Spanish Fork) que se encuentra detrás de la oficina del distrito junto a los campos de béisbol. La reunión tendrá lugar el jueves 12 de mayo de 15:00 a 18:00 horas.
