Dear students and parents:

Many students have school items (textbooks, Chromebooks, library books, musical instruments, choir clothing, etc.) at home that need to be returned to school. In order to follow the orange level Coronavirus guidelines from the state, the school district has asked that we collect these items and distribute yearbooks with curbside procedures.

Dear SJHS students and parents:

We have created a schedule for you to come pick up the belongings in your hallway and PE lockers. There may also be things you need to pick up from your teacher’s classrooms. We will begin on Monday, May 4. Please come to school based on the schedule below. We ask that, where possible, a healthy parent or other adult comes with the student to help them maintain the appropriate physical distancing from other students.

Dear SJHS students:

I’m sure by now you have heard that Governor Herbert extended our school dismissal through the end of the school year. We were all sad to hear that you wouldn’t be coming back to school before the fall, and we hope that you are all staying healthy at home. We look forward to seeing you when school starts again and we can see each other without worrying about physical distancing and wearing masks

I’m sure you have questions about the end of the school year. We are still figuring out all the details, but here are a few of the basics:

Dear SJHS parents and guardians:

I hope that you and your families are doing well. We were saddened to hear last week that we won’t be returning to school this year, but grateful that we will return to school at a time when we can stay healthy and avoid taking risks. Our faculty and staff miss our students very much and look forward to the fall when we can all be together again.

I’m sure there are many questions concerning the end of the year, and I ask for your patience as we figure out the details in this ever-changing environment. In the next week or two we will send out more detailed information about the end of the school year, but for now, here are some basics:
