Don’t forget about parent teacher conferences this week. We’d love to see you there! 🤩
Let's congratulate our winners for last week!!!
Miah Padilla - Miah is a new student in our school and I was so impressed with her when she stuck up for another student in front of the whole class. That was not an easy thing to do. Thanks for being a true ally.
Jaywel Butil - Jaywel works with and advocates for students in class who need extra assistance or who are learning English. Jaywel is a compassionate influence.
Aiden Koford - Aiden volunteered to purchase another planner for a classmate that had last theirs. He wants others to be successful in class.
On Saturday, October 9th our Latino in Action students volunteered and helped our Springville United Cultural Committee!
Check out Mrs. Paxton's 8th-grade class learning about wave lengths!
Happy #TBT!
Here's our photo dump of last week's College Week! We are so grateful for our school counselors that put on this fun week full of fun activities, trivia questions, and plenty of COLLEGE SWAG!
Thank you for taking the time to teach us about our different college opportunities!
Check out Ross Michaelis with his group's USA features on a graham cracker.
This week is Service Week! We will be collecting donations of gently used jackets and coats, spare change, and non-perishable foods. We will have a competition between the 8th and 9th graders to see which class donates more for our community.
Hope you all had a spooky good Halloween weekend! 👻
We are kicking off the week by celebrating last week’s Be An Ally Winners!!! 🎉
⚡️Porter Nielsen
Porter always comes to class with a positive attitude and a smile on his face.
⚡️Andrew Clay
Andrew came in early before class had started. He saw me setting up a lab for the day and asked if he could help. Because of Andrew, I was able to get the lab set up quickly and prepare more for my lesson.
⚡️Makensey Sheldon
Makensey asked if she could give up her extra credit in class to someone else who was in need of it. Makensey looks out for everyone and serves however she can.
⚡️Ciara Reyes
After learning about Mayan temples and architecture, students were able to design and create a replica of a Mayan temple out of marshmallows and toothpicks.
