We enjoyed seeing so many of you at last night’s Parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for partnering with us on behalf of your children and our students. We are grateful to be part of this community!
Our student council is hosting a food and hygiene drive next week. They are looking for protein items, powdered milk, things that don’t require anything extra (microwaveable items), diapers, soap, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products. Thank you to our PTA for helping to facilitate our donation drive! Other upcoming events:
Tuesday, 2/13/24
- Battle of the Books — school competition
- Girls and boys basketball vs. Mapleton Junior High at home, 3:30pm
Thursday, 2/15/24
- School dance, 3:30-5:30pm.
- Only currently enrolled Springville Junior High students may attend the dance. The dance will cost $3 if students bring a current school ID and $4 without an ID.
- As part of the donation drive, students will get another $1 off the dance admission if they bring any item to the dance. Students will also get entered into a raffle for gift cards and other prizes. They get one raffle entry for every item they bring.
- PTA will be selling concessions during the dance. If you’d like to donate items for the PTA to sell, please click here.
- The Chinese Dual Language Immersion programs in the Springville Schools (Sage Creek Elementary, Spring Canyon Middle, Springville Junior, and Springville High) are hosting a Chinese New Year Celebration at Springville High School from 6:00-8:00pm. There will be a dragon and lion dance, food, games, and performances. Admission is free to all. Click here for more details.

Nuestro consejo estudiantil organizará una colecta de alimentos e higiene la próxima semana. Buscan artículos proteicos, leche en polvo, cosas que no requieran nada extra (artículos aptos para microondas), pañales, jabón, pasta de dientes y productos de higiene femenina. ¡Gracias a nuestra PTA por ayudar a facilitar nuestra campaña de donaciones! - Sólo los estudiantes actualmente inscritos en Springville Junior High pueden asistir al baile. El baile costará $3 si los estudiantes traen una identificación escolar vigente y $4 sin identificación.
- Como parte de la campaña de donación, los estudiantes recibirán otro $1 de descuento en la entrada al baile si traen algún artículo al baile. Los estudiantes también participarán en una rifa de tarjetas de regalo y otros premios. Obtienen una entrada para la rifa por cada artículo que traen.

- Los programas de inmersión en dos idiomas en chino en las escuelas de Springville (Sage Creek Elementary, Spring Canyon Middle, Springville Junior y Springville High) están organizando una celebración del Año Nuevo Chino en Springville High School de 6:00 a 8:00 p. m.
