April Super Knights!

Submitted by jennifer.dunn on

Here at SJHS every month we pick a boy and girl from each grade to be Super Knights. They are great students that work very hard, and the teachers take a vote to pick who they think deserves the award. This month for April, our seventh graders are EmmaLee Smith and Kevin Sumsion, the eighth graders are Katie Peterson and Zach Dalley, and the ninth graders are Erin Caswell and Devin Vest.

These are the teacher comments for each Super Knight:

EmmaLee Smith:

EmmaLee is always so pleasant to be around she always smiles and does her best. She always speaks to me in the hall and is so pleasant. What stands out most about EmmaLee is that she is kind and she works hard. She comes to class gets her work and gets down to business. When the instructions are given, she follows them with exactness. She is one of the best examples of a successful learner I've seen all year.

She consistently goes above and beyond on her assignments and classwork. If she doesn't understand something, she asks questions until she does. Katie is always happy to help her classmates, and sets a good example every day. This student is a delight to work with. She is happy, positive, respectful and kind. I am grateful to have worked with her this year.

His energy in class is contagious; he really helps encourage others in class to participate as well.

I appreciate her thoughtfulness and her caring personality. Erin is a super helpful young lady. She always has a positive demeanor about her. She is kind and courteous.
