The Dazzling Mrs. Murdock

Mrs. Murdock is the amazing finance secretary here at Springville Junior High. “She is good at explaining financial things to people,” said Mr.Mikesell, assistant principal at SJHS. Mrs. Murdock has been a secretary at SJHS since 1989, but she hasn’t always been in the finance office. She started as the secretary in the counseling office, moved to the attendance office, then ended up in the finance office. According to Mrs. Murdock, her favorite part of her job is being able to interact with the students and watch the kids go on to high school and to see where they end up.

Mrs. Murdock is a great worker and she’s very friendly. Mr.Van Ausdal, the principal at SJHS, said, “She gets her job done and does it in a happy way.” Mrs. Murdock is a great person. According to Ms. Dunn, an English teacher at SJHS, Mrs. Murdock genuinely cares about the teachers and students at SJHS. Mrs. Bales, the attendance secretary, said, “I love working with Mrs. Murdock because she is one of my dearest friends.” Many teachers at SJHS agree that she has a great sense of humor. 

Mrs. Murdock’s favorite holiday is Christmas. She likes the color green and her toothbrush is purple. Her favorite hobbies are reading, spending time with her grandkids, and river running. Mrs.Murdock likes working in the school department because she gets to have summers and weekends off.  We’re thankful for all that Mrs.Murdock does for SJ
