“I really like Spanish, I get to chill with my amigos and to excel in a different  tongue,” said, Landon Simkins, a ninth grader. As you can already tell, we have  a Spanish class at Springville Junior High. There are a lot of students who are nervous or frightened to take Spanish because they think they may not succeed. Well, according to Senor Beebe, the Spanish teacher at Springville Junior High, “Anyone can take Spanish as long as they are interested in learning it. It takes a lot of patience and time to take it, but as long as you put time into it you will succeed.” Senior Beebe also said, “My favorite part of teaching Spanish is when I see or hear enthusiastic students using what I have taught them. I also love it when I hear the students talking to each other in Spanish. And using all the techniques they learned in my class.”

Students really enjoy Spanish class, and they are very glad they took the class. Rebecca Hammond, an eighth-grade student, said, “Spanish is a super fun class, we play games and learn amazing and fun stuff. It’s not just a sitting type of class, and I would recommend it for any student in the school.” Some of the students who take Spanish  have family members that are from foreign countries and they take this class so it is easier to communicate with them, and so that they can understand them better. So after reading this article, are you going to take Spanish?
