I hope that by now, based on the title, you have guessed that I am talking about the heavenly, sweet mouth watering thing, chocolate.

Chocolate comes from the cacao tree. It only grows in tropical places. The pods are as big as a butternut squash and they hold 30-50 almond sized beans. The beans have to ferment for 3-5 days. Then they are sorted into cocoa nibs 47% and 53% cocoa liquor. Which is not alcoholic by the way. It is then mixed with vanilla and sugar and lecithin which is basically a fat. Also the average chocolate bar has insect parts in it.
