Mr. Anderson, a math teacher at Springville Junior High School, said, “I want students to learn that with the proper effort, they can do anything.” The classes he teaches are Pre-Algebra, Secondary Math 1, Secondary Math 1 Honors, and Secondary Math 2 Honors. According to Mr. Anderson, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Teaching Mathematics.
Mr. Anderson’s students all like him for different reasons and find him helpful in different ways. Haylee Markham, a ninth grader at SJHS in one of Mr. Anderson’s classes, said, “He just teaches it very well, he knows how to teach kids. He makes learning fun.” Another one of Mr. Anderson’s students, Kaeden Roberts, a seventh grader at SJHS, said, “He makes it easy to get an A. He makes it so I can understand what he is teaching.” According to Tess Fisher, an eighth grader at SJHS, Mr. Anderson spends time on each of his students.
