No Tardy Party!

On October 31, 2014 all the students at SJHS who had no tardies gathered in the cafetorium to celebrate.

Mr. Rowley, an assistant principal at SJHS, said, “The students came down to the cafetorium to play Minute-to-Win-it.  We chose to continue with the no tardy party because it was fun last year.  Any kids with no tardies from first term got an invitation.  Over half the school was invited to the no tardy party.”

Ms. Miley, another assistant principal at SJHS, said, “The party was worth planning to rewarded students for being to class on time.”

Kai Ellison, a seventh grader at SJHS, said, “The no tardy was fun because we got pizza.  My favorite part was actually the pizza too.  It wasn’t hard to get no tardies, all you have to do is show up to class.”

Cassidy Vest, a eighth grade student, said, “It was fun.  My favorite part of it was that we got to talk and sit by our friends.  It’s very easy to get no tardies because we have five minutes to get to class.”

Students try to get no tardies so you can go to the next no tardy party.
