One of the unique things about being a ninth grader at SJHS is that you are in junior high at the same time that you are earning high school graduation credit. In order to graduate from Springville High School, you will need to earn a total of 26 credits. You earn one credit for each full-year class you are enrolled in, starting in ninth grade and going through your senior year. You also need to earn certain types of credits in order to graduate from SHS.
- English: 4 credits/years
- Math: 3 credits/years
- Science: 3 credits/years
- Social Science: 3 credits/years
- Physical Education: 1.5 credits/years
- Health: .5 credit/year
- Fine Arts: 1.5 credits/years
- Career and Technical Education: 1 credit/year
- Digital Studies: .5 credit/year
- Financial Literacy: .5 credit/year

All of your teachers want to help you do well in your classes and earn the credits necessary to graduate from Springville High in three short years.
