SJHS Super Knights

Submitted by jennifer.dunn on

Emma Wilson, Cesar Corona, Kadee Allred, Benton Aegerter, Ceci Sumsion, and Joshua Liddiard are the new SJHS Super Knights for the month of February. The Super Knights get an award for good behavior and for being a responsible citizen, successful learner, and effective communicator. Every month teachers choose two students from each grade to become a Super Knight.

Emma Wilson, and Cesar Corona are seventh graders, Kadee Allred and Benton Aegerter are eighth graders, and Ceci Sumsion and Joshua Liddiard are the ninth graders. These students are an example to everyone else.

“It’s cool how you are being recognized for what you do,” said Benton Aegerter. According to Benton it hit him by surprise because he was not expecting to be chosen as a Super Knight.

According to Cesar he did not expect to be awarded with it either. “When they called me down, I thought I was in trouble,” said Cesar Corona.

Ceci Sumsion said, “ I think it’s cool that the teachers like you enough to nominate you for the award; it’s a pretty cool experience.”

Here are some comments by the teachers about each of the February Super Knights.

* Emma may seem quiet, but really she speaks volumes loud and clear when it comes to setting an example to everyone around her. She never misses anything, and is responsible to get work ahead of time if she knows she will be gone.

* Emma puts time and care into each of her projects to make them successful. People know that she does beautiful, quality work because of the amazing effort she puts in each and every day. She is kind and thoughtful and what I envision a real super knight to be.”
