Sam Dahl, a science teacher 3.38 MB

Mr. Dahl is one of the science teachers here at SJHS during the 2015-2016 school year. He has been teaching science for seven years. He wanted to become a teacher because his mom was a teacher, and he always knew that he wanted to help other people understand science and how it explains the world around us. He also loved science as a kid. He loves understanding the inner-workings of the universe and how everything functions.

Mr. Dahl has two kids. Emmet who is one, and Eliza who is three. He and his wife had a child that they lost who was named Carter. He would be four. According to Mr. Dahl, his family is his favorite thing in the world, and he would rather spend time with them then do anything else. Mr. Dahl loves to play with his kids, and he also really loves movies. He plays guitar with his wife and enjoys playing card and board games.

The students at SJHS really like Mr. Dahl. Mary Balderama, an eighth grader, said, “He makes science really cool with the experiments we do.” According to Mary, she likes the way he teaches, and he makes it really entertaining. Sam Daybell, another eighth grader, likes that Mr. Dahl is enthusiastic about learning.

Mr. Dahl does a lot of experiments to get the students attention. Brayden Zubia, an eighth grader in his seventh period class said, “He tells you how to get it; it's pretty fun.”

Thank you, Mr. Dahl!
