Mr. Rowley is an assistant principal who has been working here at SJHS for two years. He came to SJHS last year. According to Mr. Rowley, he likes working here because it is a great school. He said he wanted to work at schools because he “wanted to make a difference in the world.” He has worked in education for eight years. He worked at Mapleton Jr. High School for four years as a geography teacher. Then he worked at Payson High School for two years, as an administrator, and then he came to SJHS last year to be an assistant principal.

According to Mr. VanAusdal, the principal at SJHS,  the district office hired Mr. Rowley. Mr. VanAusdal likes Mr. Rowley because he is hard working, nice, and likes students. He said Mr. Rowley is someone who enjoys his job and  working with kids. He is glad Mr. Rowley works with him; he is a great assistant principal.

Ms. Miley, the other assistant principal, said that she “likes that Mr. Rowley works hard everyday to make SJHS a better place. He cares about our school, our students and  works hard for them.” She really enjoys working with Mr. Rowley, and said that “he is a great person to collaborate with.”
