Spring Break

Spring Break! What a wonderful time of the year when we have no school!  This year Spring Break was April 7th -11th.

Chloe Potter, a ninth grade girl, said her most memorable Spring Break was when she got to ride in her step- grandpa’s airplane. If Chloe could go anywhere in the world she would go to Disney Land.

Maddy Hargett, a ninth grade girl, said if she could go anywhere in the world she would go to St. George or Las Vegas. Maddy said her favorite part of Spring Break is “no school.”

Ms. Norr, an English teacher at SJHS, says her favorite part of Spring Break is the weather. She says the weather is usually beautiful and it is close to winter. Ms. Norr’s most memorable Spring Break was when she was in high school, and her family went on a Caribbean cruise. Ms. Norr said, “I had to take my math 1050 final early so that I could go. That was the worst!”  Ms. Norr explained, “On the island of Grand Cayman, we went swimming with stingrays. I loved how strong yet slimy they felt.”  If Ms. Norr could go anywhere in the world for Spring Break she would go to Sydney, Australia  to visit her best friend and play in the ocean and see the kangaroos.
