Students’ Opinions

Springville Jr. High School 8th graders told about their opinions about certain things at school. Do they like these certain things, or do they not? The 8th graders names are: Avery Nelson, Braxton Hansen, Kloey Iese and Cameron Howell.

So first is Avery Nelson, and she had explained how Student Advisory is pretty fun and that she likes it. “Yeah it’s pretty fun, the teacher is pretty chill and she brings us treats sometimes”, Avery said. Avery said that she thinks that there is a good selection of food at lunch for all the kids, but her herself does not like it. “I really love the pizza though!” She said that she doesn’t mind homework like other kids, only because her teachers don’t give out a lot. Avery had stated her opinion about how she does not like high school days, meaning she would not want to have 4 periods during school all day.

Next is Braxton Hansen, and he had said that he kind of likes his Student Advisory class because he doesn’t really have to do anything. He had also said that he doesn’t like school lunch because they have the same food about every other day. He would like lunch if they had a different variety of food everyday. Braxton had said that he doesn’t like homework because it is hard sometimes. He had said that he would like to have days like the high schoolers do because you can get more of your work done and wouldn’t have homework.

Third is Kloey Iese, and she had said that she likes Student Advisory because she has it with Mr. Hammon. For lunch she said that she likes it and thinks that it is pretty good. Kloey, also agreeing with Braxton about having high school days, said that she would love that!

And last of all is Cameron Howell. He said,”I like Student Advisory because my teacher lets us all talk about our week and brings us treats, like donuts.” Cameron said that he likes school lunch most days. He said that he does not like homework because after school he plays sports and has no time for homework. He also said that he would like high school days.
