On Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th, the boys tennis team at SJHS had a tennis tournament at Salem Hills High School. On Thursday, Cole Monson, Stone Harding, Ethan Bird, Kaden Jepperson, Luke Gleave, Benton Aegerter, Jake Leavitt, and Jackson Chambers participated. On Friday, McKay Carr, Kevin Sumsion, Zach Miller, Zach Follette, John Andelin, Kolby Carter, Tyler Jessee, and Andrew Hammond participated.
Stone Harding, member of the boys tennis team, said, “It was really fun being in the tournament; I think we did pretty good.”
They played all of the schools in Nebo District, and they did well. Varsity and JV both took fourth place overall. They had some trouble with rain, but were able to get through all of the matches in the end.
