What’s Your Academic Future Like?

Submitted by jennifer.dunn on

Have you ever wondered what life will be like in a future grade, or just wanted to look back at the past, but you cannot really remember?  What do other people feel like at school?  Here are some sneak-peeks into other students’ thoughts about school.

7th Grade

Catie Brunson, said that she was really nervous to come to Jr. High.  “There are so many classes, I thought it would be impossible to keep track of everything, but it’s actually really fun!”

According to Kimani Lindsey, it was really scary for him to move to Jr. High, but the change is fun.  Even though it is a lot harder to keep track of every class, the key is to stay organized.

Sarah Reber said, “It was hard to go through all the different classes and get used to all the homework and disclosures at the beginning, but I’m getting used to it.”

8th Grade

Mikaya Olsen said that eighth grade is not too much harder than seventh grade, especially because you know where everything is after a year at the school.

Lexi Childs said that eighth grade is harder than seventh grade, “maybe not too much academically, but socially it’s really tough.”  Her advice to seventh graders to prepare for eighth grade is to keep your grades up; your grades will count towards college before you know it.

9th Grade

According to Kaden Jackson, there is more stress in ninth grade because you know that everything you do will go on your record.  You have to try your very hardest to get good grades.

Natalie Sumsion said, “You can’t just slack off on school because you feel like it, if you want a good future, you get good grades.”  She said that you should take honors classes so you can get into a good college.
