Spotlight: Mr. Dahl

Mr. Dahl, a science teacher at SJHS, has been teaching for six years. He has been working at SJHS for all six years. “I love working with the students and passing on the things that I have learned about science,” said Mr. Dahl. “I want to help students to be as excited as I am about science. I really like this age group as students are still excited about life and have a lot of energy,” said Mr. Dahl. 

“He’s really good at teaching; he is also entertaining,” said Hunter Ricks, an eighth grader at SJHS. 

“His class is very interesting,” said Joel Emmett, an eighth grader at SHJS. According to Joel, he always does fun activities. “We made a giant food web.” 

“He is very nice,” Brooklyn Giles, a seventh grade student at SJHS. According to Brooklyn she loves being able to learn different things. “I love when we do posters,” said Brooklyn. 

According to Samantha Bothe, a seventh grade student at SJHS, she loves doing experiments in Mr. Dahl’s class. “He is a good teacher,” said Samantha.
