Cross Country Training

Cross Country season has come and gone now. But what did it take for them to have success? What did the cross country team do to train? To find out we talked to coach Matt Hammon. Upon being asked what training is like Coach Hammon told us that on Tuesdays and Thursdays they do more challenging and harder workouts and on Mondays and Wednesdays they take it easier. On Fridays, they go to their meets. When we asked him what the best part of cross country is he said that his favorite part was seeing the kids bond and have fun and he likes seeing them win. He also told us about how the team compares to last year's team- he explained that they did very well especially the girls. To sum it all up cross country is a good way for students to be social and stay in shape. Check it out next year!
