Dear SJHS families:

Our end-of-level testing begins next week for our 9th graders. Testing security protocols from the state instruct that students should not be able to access their phones or smart watches during the testing period. For our end-of-level tests, teachers will ask students to put their phones and smart watches in their backpacks and then put all of their backpacks at the front of the classroom. When the class period is over, students will be able to retrieve their backpacks from the front of the room. If you could talk about this with your child, it would be much appreciated!

SJHS Lockout Lifted--ALL CLEAR

Submitted by april.rockwood on

All students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe. This was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High. Police responded quickly and lock down protocol was immediately put into place. Police swept the building and have deemed it safe.

As a result, SJHS was on a lockout for a short period of time. We received an ALL CLEAR, and the lockout was lifted. Students are in class and everyone is safe.

We appreciate the quick reaction of our local law enforcement.
